Home of the St. Louis, Leadville, & Rosetta Railroad, my model railroad layout project.
Many of these designs are just sketches I deemed worthy of putting on the internet. A few I've started building, as noted below.

Here's a small track plan that I'd like to build one day. It's 2'x4', and has staging. Trains come out of the hidden yard, do some work (or drop it off for a switcher), and leave. Continuous running included though it's optional. I planned this for a 19th century layout with extra-short rolling stock, but one could just as easily do it in any era as long as you kept trains and equipment short. Minimum radius is 9¾", #4 turnouts. Inspired by Cke1st's Small Track Plans.
The early layout for Piper Junction, a 16"x32" layout. I nixed the bridge and moved the trees, but the track is all the same. Minimum radius is 6", #4 turnouts, very tight.
I've started on this as my foray into building hand-laid turnouts. It's rather similar to a small 3-2-2 Inglenook, though the main goes between two of the spurs. The top one is street running. It's all built on a small board, what, 6"x25"? I found it laying around at the makerspace in the scrap pile. Unfortunately, my track spikes don't like it much so I'll need a sheet of homasote to cover it. Oh well. It was going to get scenery on it anyhow. It just barely fits a few 40' box cars and a Bachmann 0-6-0 with a slopeback tender.
An early design for Rosetta. I've since improved my skills and used up the space I was planning on building this with a 3D printer workbench instead. Still thought it might be neat to share.
