Some video for your enjoyment. Running my BLI light mikado on a test loop. This engine is quite the star for the '30s era fleet.
Old D&RG #950 again. Still in love with this little locomotive.
A new addition, an unlettered Bachmann 0-6-0 switcher (DC) sits on the siding at Piper Junction.
Look how cute the little fire tool details are!
The special has arrived. Please stand clear.
C&NW #275, soon to be relettered to St.LL&RR No. 19. She's an MRC American, DCC/sound equipped with what seems to be an XL systems steam decoder. Unfortunately, she's a poor runner, and the sound quality is very lacking. We'll get as much of that fixed as we can in our trust mechanical department. She's a beautiful engine. I think I love her because of her cantankerous nature, or that's at least what I tell myself.
K4 Decals sells these wonderful Gorre & Daphetid decals. I wanted to learn how to do decals on resin-printed cars, so I figured I'd pay a little tribute to John Allen in the process. The box cars are, as usual, NikoLisa's designs.
Nothing like a clean, organized workbench.
A hastily-snapped photo of the Leadville Loop being tested in Unitrack. ACL #836 is unhappy with the roughly 2.5% grade, but does her work without too much protest on a four-boxcar train.
